Uncle Sam Wants You!- was really one of my best works what with the foreshortened finger pointing at you. Most difficult to make it look real in two inch material when foreshortening is absolutely necessary to convey the idea. That's when years of experience comes in handy.

This carving accompanied "The Spirit of '76" to a Chicago for the trade show. This was for X-Acto Corporation and CBS. All the Salesmen lined up and I had them carve a small spot  (somewhere where it didn't louse up the carving) then had them sign their names on the back like they had carved it. That went over very well with them.

5 feet tall, 2 inches thick.
